The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 sets out the responsibilities of employers, and explains how they must protect the health, safety and welfare of not only members of staff, but also anyone else who enters the premises, such as customers and contractors.
In the UK, in 2016/17, there were 609,000 non-fatal workplace injuries according to the Labour Force Survey, and 137 workers were killed whilst at work.
We want you to be safe, legal and compliant. So we offer Health and Safety in the Workplace Courses that cover legislation, roles and responsibilities; understanding and carrying out risk assessments; understanding how to improve health and safety at work; preventing and dealing with accidents, near misses and ill-health.
All our Health and Safety in the Workplace courses are fully accredited by our awarding body Highfield, which is regulated by Ofqual and is fully recognised by the Health and Safety Executive. All courses are delivered by approved trainers who have a wealth of experience in hospitality and other industries, and who all hold Health and Safety qualifications.
To keep your costs down, we can deliver the training at your venue. Or where this is not practical, we have a number of venues across London that can comfortably accommodate groups of up to twenty.
